Welcome to The Compelling Image, an online educational center founded by the award-winning photojournalist David Bathgate. In my course "Music Photography - Capturing the Essence", ​you'll receive one-on-one instruction and personal feedback from me, tailored to your skills and needs. I'll introduce you to the musical world, prepare you to work with musicians, as well as drawing analogies from music which you can then translate into photography to further develop your sense of aesthetics and style.

Feedback takes place either live online or by submitting comments digitally. The course starts whenever you're ready!
